Sad news, indeed. Kathleen Freeman died today. Bill has some career info on this veteran character actress. It’s simply amazing she’s been battling lung cancer and continued performing (including singing on stage) until last Saturday. I hope I am fortunate enough to continue doing what I love until a week before my ticket is punched.
